Our 1501 Omi Chijimi Kasuri-ori Jinbei is particularly popular among adults for hot seasons. We use the same fabric to make high-quality children's jinbei produced using the same manufacturing process. Children can wear this jinbei paired with jinbei for adults.
The fabric of Omi Chihimi is from the 400-year-old traditional linen production area in Shiga Prefecture. It is a full-fledged luxury jinbei for children which uses Omi Chijimi cotton linen. A vertical striped pattern fabric is woven using warp yarns. This fabric is created by dyeing kase yarn and surrounding it with threads to prevent dyes from seeping.
The delicate striped pattern of the Kasuri-ori is a stylish pattern that gives you a refreshing look. It is stunning to see the whole family enjoyably wearing this jinbei together during the hot seasons.
