[What I Love About It]
Samue has a relaxed fit that makes it easy to move around in, and it is also simple to put on and take off. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to try wearing traditional Japanese clothing.

Blue has been my favorite color lately, and I often find myself choosing blue clothing and accessories. So when I was invited to try the light blue Kasuri Tsumugi Samue, I immediately wanted to give it a try. I like to call this color “Ramune,” after the light blue color of Japanese ramune soda.

With 16 colors to choose from, I think everyone can find a color they love. Why not choose your favorite color and make it your own?

[How I Like to Wear It]
I was surprised by how easy it was to wear with an undergarment, and I liked how easily the whole outfit came together.

I often receive comments such as, “That looks lovely!” I am not very good at starting conversations, but wearing samue has often led to enjoyable conversations with others.

I mainly wear it as workwear, and I also wear it when taking my child to and from school.

For an outing, I would love to wear my samue and take a walk around Asakusa.

When styling it in my own way, I like adding a touch of contrast rather than wearing blue from head to toe. For example, I chose a gray collar for my undergarment and like to pair it with my favorite hair accessories.

I prefer to wear my samue loosely, but when the sleeves get in the way while working, I use a hair tie to hold them up. It is a simple trick I recommend trying.
