Pattern Maker / Sewing

Staff Comment

My dog chews on the strings of my samue every day, but they don't tear and I can still wear it.
I'm happy because he comes close to me when I wear my samue.

① Challenging Fabrics:
Kiryu-ori Pure Silk Samue (Fully lined)
Tatekasuri Design Samue
As a pattern maker, these fabrics are only 37cm to 40cm wide, so it's difficult to make LL-size measurements to fit into such a narrow width.
I make fine adjustments to the length of the sleeves and the angle of the pants so that we can make the body parts in such a narrow width.

② Favorite / Recommended Fabrics:
Women's Kasuri Pattern Cotton Samue in Red
In my favorite play, the red women's samue with a pattern that is no longer in production was used.
Because this samue has a similar color and the same design, working with this samue always makes me happy and smile.

③ Particular Attention When Sewing:
I try to make each workflow such as sewing, putting interfacing, cutting, and making the buttonholes efficient for everyone.
I always consider making sure that all of our staff can work smoothly and easily, and that we don't create difficult tasks that only a certain person can do.
