Love my Jinbei1603 Omi Chijimi Ramie Jinbei No.1 Dark Navy, L
I am 168cm, 72kg with 81cm waist and 105cm chest. Being short and broad, I am usually a L in Japanese clothing, so I chose the L size. It is perfect! Initially I thought it may be a little too long but the excellent advice from staff has reassured me. It sits on my waist lightly without being tight or falling down and is supremely comfortable.
This fabric is incredibly soft, light and airy. It hovers over your body and barely seems to make contact. The lovely crinkled texture is visually appealing and feels wonderful because it reduces the amount of contact with the skin. Definitely far more refined than linen or hemp and totally worthy of Unesco recognition. The design, cut, craftsmanship and attention to detail are phenomenal and the colour is a rich, deep indigo blue which looks even more spectacular in the sunlight. Even with all these features the jinbei remains understated and elegant. Perfect for hot Australian summer, it is even comfortable on cooler evenings. I want to wear it everywhere, all day and everyday!
